From its manufacturing headquarters in Cranston, Rhode Island and a fabrication facility in Fall River, Massachusetts, Taco Comfort Solutions® develops and manufactures products and systems for both residential and commercial applications. These include circulators/pumps, valves and controls, air-dirt separators, heat exchangers, buffer and expansion tanks, domestic hot water recirculation and accessory products, and sophisticated building management controls.
Taco has a long rich history in designing heat exchangers. All of their heat exchangers are fabricated in Fall River, MA by ASME certified welders. Diversified Fluid Controls is the sole provider of Plate and Frame Heat Exchangers manufactured by Taco in South Florida.
Taco PF Series Plate and Frame Heat Exchangers are designed and constructed to ASME requirements. Computerized product selection helps you choose the heat exchanger that's just right for your application.
Their compact size and ease of servicing, coupled with Taco dependability, makes the PF Series ideal for applications such as:
Top quality Taco Shell and Tube Heat Exchangers are designed and constructed in accordance with ASME Section VIII and completely fabricated in-house. They feature U-tube construction and a wide variety of materials to meet the specific demands of your application. For example, steel is used for standard shells, but 304ss and 316ss are optionally available. Standard heads are cast-iron, but optionally available materials include fabricated steel, cast bronze and fabricated 304ss or 316ss. In addition, tubes, tube sheets, separators and tie rods are all available in optional materials.
Rugged, reliable Taco Brazed Heat Exchangers represent the latest technology in high-performance heat exchangers.
The Taco TB Series is designed specifically for domestic hot water applications, in-floor radiant heating, snow-melt, pool and spa applications (except salt water) and in general a more compact alternative to plate & frame and shell & tube type heat exchangers. These compact units feature copper brazed, stainless steel plates that offer a highly efficient, low fouling transfer service. All units have male pipe thread fittings, and mounting stud bolts are standard.
For pool and spa applications, that are not salt water, materials will be SMO (chloride rates up to 900 ppm) for the plates and copper brazing.
